As per a BBC report, driving & aviation are key contributors to emissions from transport by 72% & 11% respectively in the globe, is deducted now a days. Overall 2020 may still see a drop in global emissions of 0.3% – less pronounced than the crash of 2008-09.
In India, Polluion decrease today, only due to less movements of vehicles on the road as well as less number of industries running those days during lockdown. Air Quality Index also sanks.
